How Do I Get to IFEMA?

IFEMA is located just two metro stops from Madrid’s main international airport. Take Metro Line 8 to Feria de Madrid station. Station is located at the south entrance of IFEMA in Feria de Madrid, where you may walk or take the shuttle bus to the North Entrance where WATM Congress is located. Learn more HERE.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Rental Cars are not allowed to pull up to the main entrances of IFEMA to drop off/pick up. Only taxis, buses, hired vans with drivers have the ability to do so. Private drivers in rental cars MUST park in the appropriate car park.

There will be free enhanced Wi-Fi in Hall 9 this year - access information will be provided onsite.


You can also find WIFI connection at other areas in IFEMA. Free WIFI areas at IFEMA:
• South entrance - 30 minutes of free connection.
• North entrance - 30 minutes of free connection.
• Meeting point in The Avenida (hall 8) - 30 minutes of free connection.
• Business Centre (hall 7) – 1 hour of free connection.
• Club Feria Lounge (1st floor of Offices building) – 1 hour of free connection.

How do I connect?

Stand in one of the 5 areas marked with a “Free WIFI” sign. Access the “IFEMA FREE” network. You will be asked for your phone number, where we will send you the access code that enables you to use Internet for the limited period defined.

Other WIFI services:

If you need a longer or faster WIFI connection, you will have to use our IFEMA PREMIUM network, with which you will be able to connect during 2 continued hours. The price of this service is 10€ and you can book it in the ticket-offices and cloakrooms. In professional trade fairs, you can also book it at visitor registration counters

Is there parking at IFEMA?

Yes, The closest car parks are the Orange, Red and Brown lots. To speed up the collection of vehicles from IFEMA parking facilities, IFEMA has installed ticket machines in every lot.

Are there places to eat at IFEMA and in the Exhibit Hall?

There are numerous options for getting food or drink at IFEMA both inside and outside of exhibit hall 10.

Inside exhibit hall:
Two cafeterias at back of exhibit hall will be open during the Congress including during exhibit Setup on Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
Plaza 1 and Plaza 4 will have food and beverage options available for purchase.

Outside of the Exhibit Hall:
There are several additional options which include:
Burger King and Telepizza

Is there a Cloakroom?

Yes, For an easier and more comfortable visit, a cloakroom service is available at the North entrance of IFEMA.

What if I need some money while at IFEMA?

There are two banks located at IFEMA for your assistance:

There are several ATMs located in the venue:

  • 2 in the main South Lobby
  • 1 in the main North Lobby
  • 1 along the Avenida, between Halls 3 & 5
Is there a Post Office at IFEMA?

Yes, it is a limited service post office and is located at La Avenida, near the main entrance to Hall 5

How can I get a Tourist/Transport Pass?

What currency do I need to use in Madrid?

The currency in Madrid is Euros.
What is the weather like in Madrid?

While no one can predict exactly what the weather will be like. In early March, Madrid is traditionally dry and sunny with cold nights and days that can warm up to be comfortable sitting at an outside café during lunch. It can snow occasionally but rarely accumulates.
Can children attend the show?

Children under the age of 16 are not permitted anywhere at World ATM Congress.
Can I register onsite?

Yes, you are able to register for WATMC on-site; though we strongly encourage you to register as early as possible to take advantage of the early discounted rates and to avoid the lines.

Do I need a visa?

You may be required to provide a visa for entry into Spain. Please check with the Spanish embassy in your country to see if you need a visa. Should you need a visa please click on the link below to get your WATM Congress visa invitation letter. Please be aware that the visa process can take several weeks.

Can we book a meeting room at IFEMA?

Only, Exhibitors, Sponsors, and Official partnering organizations may book meeting space at IFEMA. Should you wish to book meeting space, click on the meeting space link below for information. Meeting rooms are very popular and it is advised to book as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
