    Description: GL's MAPS™ ED-137 Recorder Emulator software emulates voice recording and replay of voice communication for VoIP ATM networks per EUROCAE ED-137B Volume 4 Standards. The software is designed to simulate Recorder Interface for both Air-to-Ground (AG) and Ground-to-Ground (GG) calls at Controller Working Position (CWP), Ground Radio Station (GRS) and Communication Recorders endpoints. MAPS™ ED137 Recorder supports Real Time Streaming Protocol (RTSP) to establish, terminate and maintain media sessions, which deliver media recording servers. Active recording requires an established session (i.e. a certain number of parameters that are exchanged between entities prior to any recording).   • Title: GL's ED-137 Radio Emulator Connects to Live Radio
    Description: GL's MAPS™ Radio Emulator capability to connect to a Rohde & Schwarz Radio located in Romania with the help of the Romanian Air Traffic Services Administration Staff (Romatsa). This radio is responsible for a certain sector of the Romanian airspace. The ED-137B connection was made, with the GL's MAPS™ Radio emulator in "RX Only" mode. Any airplane communication (squelch break) from an airplane in that sector was heard by our tool. We were also monitoring this connection with GL's PacketScan™ which was able to show (in real-time) all of the voice and packet characteristics of this connection. Visitors seemed particularly interested in the real time Waveform viewer and MOS/Jitter etc. value measurements. Similarly, GL's MAPS™ Radio Emulator can be connected and tested seamlessly with other Radio vendors like Jotron, Park Air, and more.

VoIP ATM Radio Simulator
MAPS™ ED-137 Radio simulator software simulates Air-to-Ground calls per EUROCAE standards (ED-137/1B and ED-137/1C) to perform functionality testing of network elements within VoIP ATM core network. The simulator software provides ability to customise the network parameters for simulating different call scenarios between Controller Working Positions (CWPs), Ground Radio Station (GRS) or Radio Media Gateways (RMG). VoIP ATM Telephone Simulator
MAPS™ ED-137 Telephone simulator software simulates VoIP Ground-to-Ground calls per EUROCAE standards (ED-137/2B). The simulator software provides ability to customize the network parameters for testing different call scenarios between Controller Working Positions (CWPs) across VoIP ATM network. Supported call types include- Instantaneous Access (IA), Priority Direct/Indirect Access (DA/IDA), Routine Tactical Direct/Indirect Access, Routine Strategic Direct/Indirect Access, Routine General Purpose Direct/Indirect Access, Position Monitoring Call (Combined A/G and G/G, A/G only, and G/G only). VoIP ATM Recorder Simulator
GL’s MAPS™ ED137 Recorder application simulates Recorder interfaces for both Air-to-Ground (AG) and Ground-to-Ground (GG) calls at Controller Working Position (CWP), Ground Radio Station (GRS) and Recorder endpoints as per ED-137/4B, as defined under EUROCAE (European Organization for Civil Aviation Equipment) Working Group 67. MAPS™ ED137 Recorder supports Real Time Streaming Protocol (RTSP) protocol for establishing, terminating and maintaining media sessions to deliver media to recording servers. VoIP Air Traffic Monitoring System
PacketScan™ - an All-IP Network Monitoring software offers powerful features to capture and monitor live signaling and traffic over IP. It captures, segregates, monitors and collects statistics on all Ground-to-Ground calls and Air-to-Ground sessions. All data captured are forwarded real-time to NetSurveyorWeb™, a web-based centralized network surveillance system for air traffic monitoring. Packet Analyzer with 12-Port TTL
Packet Analyzer (PA) extends Ethernet testing capabilities of PacketExpert™ 10GX for 10 Gbps and 1 Gbps networks. The hardware unit is a more compact and adds 12-port user-configurable TTL trigger option as an important enhancement. The device can run all 4 ports at 1-Gbps Electrical/Optical, including the 10 Gbps optical. Packet Analyzer in the network functions like a highly precise Ethernet tap, filtering packets of interest from a bidirectional Ethernet link without disturbing the traffic. The filtered packets are modified (Timed Events) and are forwarded to Event Data Logger. It also generates output TTL signal pulses for every filter match, which can be processed using an external device like Oscilloscope. MAPS™ TM-ATM – Critical Time Delay Measurements
MAPS™ TM-ATM (Timing Measurements in Air Traffic Management) tools includes all necessary hardware and software to identify, capture, timestamp, and correlate events at Analog, TDM and IP interfaces. This helps to precisely measure the delay introduced by each network element as events propagate end-to-end. Testing PTT Services and Devices
GL’s Audio Analyzer is a VQuad™ Dual UTA hardware-based rack appliance, used for simulating radio calls from CWP in Air Traffic Management (ATM) network for Timing/Delay Measurements. The Audio Analyzer is a 4-wire audio device that can connect to a CWP and emulate a controller by activating PTT and transmitting audio. It supports PTT interfaces to connect to CWP Dual Jack Module and other 4-wire interfaces. It can send a PTT signal through 4-Wire interface exactly as though a real user is holding PTT on the headset. It can also inject and record analog signals at CWP, Radio and VoIP gateway interfaces. The analyzer can generate TTL for different actions (PTT ON, PTT OFF, Send Audio, Detect Audio). Voice Quality Measurement and Analysis
GL’s Voice Quality Testing analysis application can compare the received voice file against the original reference file and a standard ITU-based voice quality score can be derived. In the ATM network, MAPS™ ED137 can be configured to simulate an aircraft call, by sending a voice file over the radio network to an air traffic controller. When there is no voice transmission from the aircraft, only keep-alive packets are sent from radio towards the VCS/CWP endpoint. The PTT keying by a pilot triggers voice transmission towards the ground and keep-alive packets are replaced by audio packets from radio towards the VCS/CWP. The voice traffic is received at the controller side and recorded. The RTP traffic can also be converted to analog and output to a PC speaker. WAN IP Link Simulation
GL provides various types of WAN Link simulation platforms such as IPNetSim™. This appliance is connected to the two end points of a WAN link, allowing it to act either as a transparent bidirectional Ethernet link or a simple Ethernet bridge between two end points. The endpoint equipment in Air Traffic Services Ground Voice Network (AGVN) can access an IP WAN network as the connection backbone using VoIP gateways. The different WAN link speeds that can be emulated are - RS232/DSL/Modem/T1 E1/T3 E3 and more. IPNetSim™ also supports simulation of various impairments - Bandwidth emulation, Latency/Delay, Packet Loss, Packet Reordering, Packet Duplication Emulation, Logic Error Insertion.
