PECASUS (Pan-European Consortium for Aviation Space weather User Services) is a European consortium of nine expert institutions from nine European States providing global Space Weather (SWX) services for air transport users and one of three global SWX centres designated by ICAO in 2018.
Space Weather can affect HF and SATCOM communications, GNSS accuracy and radiation (RAD) doses to air crew. These four types of SWX advisories can mitigate adverse effects.
Finland and Finnish Meteorological Institute (FMI) as the Consortium Lead State will disseminate the global advisories in coordination with other centres.
