Protect and Detect
Based on local health authority rules, participants must wear a Spanish health approved medical face mask covering their nose and mouth when indoors, on public transportation and outdoors when there are crowds. Please make sure you bring an approved mask with you to World ATM Congress. Should you forget your mask, or your mask does not meet Spanish health authorities requirements, World ATM Congress will provide a mask. Coverings will not be needed outdoors as long as a social distance of 1.5 meters from different social bubbles is respected.
Every participant in World ATM Congress will be subject to temperature checks upon their entrance to IFEMA. Persons refusing to have their temperatures measured will be denied access to the event.
No one whose temperature is equal to or greater than 37.5° will be allowed to access the event. If the person’s temperature is 37.5° or higher when first measured, the person will be invited to be seen by IFEMA's emergency medical service, where available, who will take it a second time. If the emergency medical service is not available, the second and final control will be repeated at the same place where the first was carried out, applying the same criteria.
At peak arrival times, health personnel will be located at the main entrances to carry out these controls immediately, as indicated above. To this end, private spaces will be provided to examine people discreetly.
The access control system for IFEMA MADRID sites does not keep any records of health data.
If you are attending WATMC, we strongly encourage you to be fully vaccinated upon your arrival. If you are not vaccinated, you will be asked to take a Covid-19 test 72 hours prior to your arrival at WATMC and provide a negative result to be credentialed for the event. WATMC is looking at arranging testing facilities on-site at IFEMA. Additional information on testing to be announced soon.
IFEMA has a staffed medical office located between Halls 9 and 7 on level 1. The office will be open during all buildout, public, and teardown times.
IFEMA staff and security, along with World ATM Congress staff and key vendor staff will be trained on our Incident Response Plan.
