World ATM Congress is committed to the health and safety of our members, customers, partners, speakers, and staff. Be sure to view our Health and Safety Protocols adopted from recommendations and rules issued from public health officials, national, regional, local authorities, and venues. Please note these Health and Safety Protocols are subject to change and will be updated when they occur.

There has been significant relaxation of Covid Safety Protocols in Spain, please review is still in effect. It is our goal to create spaces where businesses and people can connect, learn, and grow. We believe these comprehensive standards will allow us to do so safely and securely. Please be sure to check back for updates.

Physical Distancing

Contactless registration
“To minimize crowds at registration. Pre-registration is required before arriving at World ATM Congress, Registration is open 24/7 before and during the event. Pre-register and bring your printed or electronic QR code to World ATM Congress to expedite your entry and minimize unnecessary contact. On-site support will be available for those needing assistance.

Cleaning and Hygiene

Hand sanitation

Hand sanitising stations will be placed throughout the event space, along with signage to promote their use.

Food and beverage
On March 1, Madrid rescinded restrictions on all food and beverage events. Receptions serving food and beverages in your exhibit stand are now allowed.

Protect and Detect

Face coverings
While World ATM Congress recommends wearing face masks there is no longer any mandates to wear masks indoors or outdoors in Spain. 
Mask use is only required when taking public transportation, taxis, etc. 

IFEMA MADRID has a staffed medical office located between Halls 9 and 7 on level 1. The office will be open during all buildout, public, and teardown times.

Staff training
IFEMA MADRID staff and security, along with World ATM Congress staff and key vendor staff will be trained on our Incident Response Plan.

Communications

Pre-event communication
World ATM Congress will provide a series of email communications to all participants with detailed information about what to expect at the event. We encourage participants to provide their mobile number during registration to facilitate on-site communications.

Contact tracing
Should it become necessary, we will work with local authorities who will trace and contact participants, subject to local privacy guidelines.
